Vegetable dishes cooked in the microwave are delicious and quick to prepare. The maximum baking time is no more than 30 minutes at 600 watts.

Potato souffle with vegetables

Ingredients for 4 servings: 500 g potatoes, 1 onion, 150 g leeks, 400 g fried sausage, salt, pepper, 150 g frozen peas (or canned), 150 g frozen carrots, 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, 250 ml. vegetable or meat broth, 2-3 tablespoons finely chopped parsley, 100 g grated cheese.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into small circles. Mix them with a little salt, ground black pepper and finely chopped parsley. Cut leeks into thin circles and onions into small pieces.

Grease a deeper dish suitable for a microwave oven with oil. Arrange half of the potatoes on the bottom. Stir in peas, carrots, onions and fried sausages and pour everything over the potatoes. Cover them with the remaining potatoes and bake the dish for 8-10 minutes at 600 watts.

Remove the pan from the oven. Pour the broth, arrange the remaining butter on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for another 10-15 minutes at 450 watts. Serve the souffle warm.

Necessary products for 4 servings: 1 onion, 600 g carrots, 100 g leeks, 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, 1 cup champagne, ground white pepper, 1 pinch sugar, 1 pinch grated nutmeg, 2-3 tablespoons liquid cream, 2-3 tablespoons chopped celery leaves.

Cut the onion into small cubes. Peel, wash and dry the carrots, cut them into thin circles. Peeled leeks are cut into strips. Place the butter or margarine together with the vegetables in a dish suitable for a microwave oven.

Add the champagne and season with salt, pepper, sugar and nutmeg. The dish is cooked for 12-15 minutes at 600 watts. Finally, add the liquid cream. Optionally served with chopped celery.
