Hawthorn is an herb that, with regular use, can improve heart function. It is also recommended for hypertensives, in addition, it is believed to increase physical and mental ability.
An experiment, which was done in a clinical setting, found that an extract of the herb enhances heart rate, while slowing heart rate and regulating heart rhythm disorders.
In hypertension, a decoction of the following herbs is recommended - hawthorn, dill, dilyanka, balm, mint. From all drugs put 1 tsp. in 400 ml of boiling water.
The mixture should be boiled for three minutes and then soaked for half an hour. Finally strain and drink 120 ml three times a day. The treatment should last at least 3 months, then take a two-week break and repeat.
With high blood pressure, you can also make the following infusion:
In a suitable bowl, mix 80 g of hawthorn, 50 g of elderflower, 40 g of horsetail and white mistletoe stalks, 30 g of dilyanka root and 20 g of geranium roots. Mix the herbs well, then take 2 tbsp. of the mixture and boil them with 400 ml of boiling water. The infusion should stand for one hour. Then strain and drink a glass of wine before meals 3 times a day.
Another effective recipe for hypertension contains herbs - 60 g of hawthorn, 40 g of white mistletoe stalks, 30 g of devil's mouth stalks, 20 g of lily of the valley, dilyanka root and mint. The cooking technology is the same as in the recipe above. Drink 1 cup of coffee before meals three times a day.
If you suffer from chronic heart failure, make an infusion of 80 g of hawthorn, 40 g of dilyanka roots and 30 g of mustard. The infusion is made again with 2 tbsp. of herbs and 400 ml of boiling water. Drink 1 cup of coffee three times a day.
In atherosclerotic myocardiosclerosis you can make the following infusion:
Mix in a suitable container 100 g of hawthorn, 50 g of sandy wild grass, 40 g of valerian roots, 30 g of mint leaves. Put 1 tbsp. of this mixture in 200 ml of boiling water. Leave the infusion to soak for two hours and then strain it. Drink 2-3 times a day before meals. The amount of intake is one cup of coffee.
Hawthorn is believed that it can not harm, even after long use. Remember that the area is poisonous. It is best to consult a doctor before resorting to any of the prescriptions.
