Experts from the University of Surrey point out that eating at the desk is an increasingly popular phenomenon among working people.

According to experts, when a person has lunch at the desk, he is distracted for a number of reasons. This is because more or less he is tempted to check what is new in social networks, whether there is an e-mail message or just surf the Internet freely, ostensibly to relax from worries at work.

An older study pointed to another disadvantage of eating at a desk at work. With such consumption, employees do not have time to deliver a varied menu consisting of first, second and dessert.
