When we think about the different dishes that contain potatoes, different products are added, so let's say what are the most suitable smells that we must add to the potatoes, no matter what we have prepared with them.
First of all, this is dill - do not overdo it, but do not forget it, especially on dishes like peas with potatoes, or the beloved sauteed potatoes.
One of the interesting but less used spices for potato delicacies is samardala. You can add it generously to baked, stewed, sauteed and any potatoes.
And when it comes to dill, we can not pay due attention to parsley - add it at the end of the already prepared potato stew, also necessarily in a casserole and when making potato meatballs. If you really like both products, add it to a cooked salad potatoes.
If you bought fresh potatoes, be sure to put rosemary and a little garlic, roast them with beer in the pan or with water and enjoy their wonderful taste afterwards. You can put black pepper on potato soup or on a casserole. In one case ground, in the other grains, but do not overdo it - add very little, just to taste.
If you want to cook it baked potatoes with spices, add paprika, savory, a little oregano and salt. Mix it all up, add more fat and just wait for it to brown nicely.
In case you are a fan of cumin, which, you know, has a very strong aroma, you can add it to potatoes if you have prepared potatoes with chicken. Do not put a large amount so as not to make the dish bitter. In some parts of Bulgaria cumin is a mandatory addition to stew.
Many housewives add mint, especially if the potatoes are cooked with lamb - the taste is special, but the meat and spice go well together and you will probably like it. And since these are basically the main spices you should have in your kitchen when cooking potatoes, let's not forget to mention savory.
Recently, quite neglected with the appearance of all other odors, but still the savory remains on top of green spices. Add it to potato meatballs and stew.
