Chimichanga is a specialty popular in Mexican and American cuisine. In appearance it resembles a burrito, quesadilla, and doner because of the characteristic flat bread with which it is prepared.

Necessary products: 4 flat cakes (tortillas), 350 g chicken, 1 pepper, 2 cloves garlic, 1/2 tsp. chili, 1/2 tsp. coriander, 1/2 tsp. black pepper, salt, 1 onion, 1-2 tbsp. thick tomato puree, 250 g of cheddar.
Method of preparation: Chop the onion and pepper. Stew in a little fat and add the crushed garlic and finely chopped chicken. Add the spices and pour the tomato puree.
Cook the mixture until the chicken is soft. The stuffing thus obtained is distributed on the loaves. Sprinkle with grated cheddar. The cakes are folded to become like a packet. They are pierced with wooden sticks so that they do not open.
Then fry until golden on all sides. When they are removed from the oil bath, they are placed on kitchen paper to remove unnecessary oil. Sprinkle a little more cheese on top. The finished packets of chimichanga are served with vegetables and sauces of your choice.
