It is unbelievable that it is possible for a person to eat on a nightstand in a restaurant without it coming out salty. In fact, such a public place to eat exists in the United States. In it, everyone can eat happily for only one cent, of course even more, if his heart is wide or he is grateful for the delicious food.

Imagine a restaurant where you can pay for what you eat at your discretion. You may not believe it, but such a place exists in the United States.

The place where you can consume whatever you can think of and pay at your discretion are the cafe-restaurants and bakeries from the American national company "Panera Bread". The company specializes in the production and distribution of bread and bakery products.

Apparently, the business of "Panera Bread" is going quite well as soon as the company is able to afford such a social experiment as "paying in good faith". The experimental way of working, which at first glance seems completely unprofitable for restaurants and the company proved that despite the non-standard approach of the business company is able to generate higher revenues than expected.

The principle is the following - instead of the traditional cash registers there are "piggy banks" in which the buyer leaves as much as he thinks he wants to pay. The only condition in the whole scheme is that you can not leave the restaurant without paying, even a cent. Visitors are offered to pay as much as they want, and the main idea is to have a donation.

The unique coffee-bakery opened its doors for the first time a few weeks ago, and the interest from the citizens, of course, was huge. According to the company itself, at this stage people show satisfactory generosity, given that they can get away with a few cents for coffee and a bun.

The coffee oven is located near banks and other business premises and so far customers have paid either the full price or half, but in general everyone has made "good donations". Panera Bread works in collaboration with a foundation that can compensate for any losses.

This is not the first such site in the United States. A similar restaurant has been operating in Salt Lake City since 2003, and Panera Bread is not the first of its kind. The pioneer in the non-standard way of trading is owned by Dennis Keret, who claims that customers are not tight and there is some balance. "Get what you need, pay honestly" is the official motto of any such restaurant.
