Add 1 teaspoon of sea salt and a few drops of lemon and cover the container in which you put them with a towel. You need to leave the nuts for 8 hours at room temperature. When eight hours have passed, drain and discard the water in which you soaked the nuts, then rinse the seeds several times.
For the next step you will need a blender, but if you do not have one - you can also use a blender. Put the seeds, the three glasses of water and a little salt in the blender (or in the blender bowl) and turn on at maximum speed for 60 seconds.
In case you want pumpkin seed milk to have a smoother texture, resembling store-bought milk, you need to strain it. Keep in mind, however, that in this way you remove the pulp, namely it contains the most useful substances.
If you want a drink with a sweet taste, when beating with a blender or blender, add a few dates, a spoonful of honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract and a pinch of cinnamon. This way your milk will get the right dose of sweetness, but you will also load it with additional valuable ingredients. You can store the finished milk for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
