A substance in purple fruit helps fight the harmful effects of iron, which can damage cells if it passes through the digestive system in an irregular shape.
Iron, which is generally considered healthy, is only useful when it reacts with other compounds. Otherwise, the mineral can be toxic to tissues.

Blueberry fruits are rich in vitamins, trace elements, minerals, tannins and flavonoids, essential fatty acids, alpha linoleic acid, carotenoids and phytosterols.
Blueberries contain a large amount of the substance pterostilbine, which is a natural antioxidant.
Blackcurrant is a particularly useful fruit for those suffering from atherosclerosis and hypertension. Consumption of blackcurrant increases the body's defenses and has a prophylactic effect against colds and infectious diseases.
Due to the iron, manganese and copper contained in blackcurrants, it is useful in anemia. The amount of potassium makes it an excellent food for heart and kidney failure, high blood pressure and especially in combat conditions with edema.
Blackcurrant is also used for stomach ulcers, gastritis with increased acidity of gastric juice.
