It is also used when you need to overcome bouts of nausea, as well as in the fight against stomach disorders. Ginger tea is useful for sore throats as well as menstrual cramps.

To make tea from ginger, you need a piece of ginger root - about 100 grams, 3 cups boiling water, honey, lemon, mint, brown sugar, if desired, and hot red pepper.

The fresh ginger root is covered with a thin skin, it should not be cut, but lightly scraped. The skin of the older pieces of ginger root is hardened and must be cut.

Then the ginger is cut into thin slices. The water boils and can be used in different ways to prepare ginger tea.

One option is to pour slices ginger with boiling water and stay in it for 20 minutes. You can put the slices in a pot of boiling water and cook for 10 minutes.

You can also put the pieces of ginger root in a special metal container for infusions, and put it in a glass of boiling water.

When making tea in this way, only one third of the root is used. Cover the glass with a saucer and let the ginger stand for 15 minutes.

Ginger it should not stay in the water longer than necessary, because the tea will become too bitter. The tea is drunk cold or hot, depending on preferences.

Honey mixed with a little sugar, a little lemon juice and mint leaves is added to the tea. If the purpose of tea is to help you deal with colds, add hot red pepper.

Ginger tea can also be made with ginger powder if you do not have fresh. To do this, mix 1 teaspoon of honey with half a teaspoon of ground ginger and pour 200 milliliters of boiling water. Cover with a saucer and leave for 15 minutes.

Ginger tea can be flavored with another type of tea. In this case, it is prepared by diluting the already prepared ginger tea with ready-made black or green tea.
