Method of preparation: Potatoes, carrots, celery and peas are boiled and cut into cubes. Fry the finely chopped onion in butter, add the cooked vegetables, some of the grated tomatoes and season the stuffing with salt and pepper to taste. Stew until thickened.
Fill the peeled peppers with this mixture, arrange them in a greased pan, pour the sauce over the remaining tomatoes and bake in a preheated oven. Serve with yogurt.
Stuffed peppers with spinach
Necessary products: 1 kg red peppers, 800 g spinach, 200 g cheese, 60 g rice, 5 tomatoes, 2 onions, 1 cup yogurt, 100 g butter, salt and pepper to taste.
Method of preparation: Fry the finely chopped onion in the butter together with the rice. To them add the washed and chopped spinach, half of the grated tomatoes and cheese. The products are stewed until the liquid evaporates and the stuffing prepared in this way is seasoned with salt and pepper.
Fill the peeled peppers with it, arrange in a greased pan, pour over the remaining tomato sauce and bake in a preheated oven. Serve with yogurt.
