After nearly a year of litigation, the court finally ruled that only Bulcons Parvomay would have the right to produce lyutenitsa with horce on the label.

The production of the competing Conservinvest will be withdrawn from the market network. Conservinvest was also banned from producing lyutenitsa with the labels Parvomayska lutenitsa, Homemade coarsely ground and Parvomayska lutenitsa Rachenitsa.

The two competing companies have been arguing for a year over the rights to these labels. The court decision already taken has entered into force and has no right of appeal.

Bulcons Parvomay is the successor of the cannery from the recent past Partizanin, which was later renamed Bulcons.

Conservinvest registered lyutenitsa under the Horce brand in 1998. In 2013, lutenitsa appeared with the label Lutenitsa Parvomay, and under the inscription there was a painted dance. This was Bulcons' patent.

That same year, the two companies were fined BGN 35,000 by the Consumer Protection Commission for misleading customers, as the labels of the two different lyutenitsa looked exactly the same.

Bulcons Parvomay claimed in court that he had been producing lyutenitsa under this label since 1938, and Konservinvest used the fact that it was the first factory to produce lyutenitsa on a standard basis.

In the end, the court ruled in favor of Bulcons Parvomay and banned Conservinvest from producing lyutenitsa with horce on the label. The released jars will be seized from the market network.

At the same time, another trade in winter products came to light. Lutenitsa, pickles and kyopoolu, prepared by grandmothers from the villages, were widely offered on the Internet.

Winter food is offered not by grandmothers, but by their grandchildren, who take advantage of the fact that people are increasingly looking for homemade.

The jars with coarsely ground lyutenitsa of 318 grams are traded for BGN 3.30. The jar of kyopoolu costs BGN 3.30, and the hot peppers - BGN 2.20.

Homemade delicacies include prune jam, homemade pumpkin squeegee and even ketchup.
