The puff pastry is thawed. Mix the cottage cheese with the sugar, add the vanilla, salt and raisins. Mix everything and add two eggs. The third egg is beaten well and set aside - it is for spreading on the cake. If the curd filling becomes too thick, add another egg. If it turns out very thin, add a little semolina and leave for 10 minutes to swell.
Once the dough has thawed, roll it out until it doubles in volume. Since the puff pastry is available in two pieces, the filling is divided into two. Spread it on the dough, leaving 2 cm on each side to make it easy to roll.
Once the two rolls are rolled up, they are placed in a greased pan, forming something like a snail. The second roll continues the shape of the first until it becomes a spiral. The spiral is smeared with the egg, to which a tablespoon of sugar is added.
Pierce in several places with a fork and bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for about 50 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool, covering with a towel.
Delicious and economical cake is made with apples and puff pastry.
Necessary products: 500 grams of puff pastry, 2 eggs, half a cup of sugar, 100 grams of cottage cheese, 1 vanilla, 2 tablespoons of starch, 4 medium apples, 1 handful of raisins, a little cinnamon, powdered sugar for sprinkling.
While the dough is thawing, prepare the filling by cleaning and finely chopping the apples, adding the raisins, sugar, cinnamon and stewing everything for 2 minutes in a little fat.
Roll out the dough very lightly and place half of it on the bottom of the pan. From the rest of the dough, walls are formed and strips are cut. To make the dough stick better, use whipped egg whites.
The remaining yolk and the other egg are mixed with the vanilla, starch and fruit. Pour everything over the dough and distribute evenly. Arrange the strips beautifully on the filling, forming a grid. Bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees and after removing, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
