Salt is the spice that is present in every dish. However, the exact dose can sometimes be exceeded. It often happens that we add less salt than the dish needs. Of course, the case with the salted pot is much more serious, because even if we have added a little salt to the dish, we can correct this mistake just before eating.

How can we desalinate a pot and make it tasty again?

There are several proven methods that can benefit any housewife. First of all, too salty foods are not good for health at all - they can raise blood pressure, the body can get swelling, etc.

One of the tried and tested methods for desalting a dish is with the help of potatoes. If you find that your soup or dish is too salty, peel a few potatoes (2-3), wash them well and add them to the dish whole.

The pan should boil when you add the potatoes, and then you should let the dish cook with the whole vegetables for another ten minutes. Then try the dish and you will see for yourself the effect of this advice.

If you do not have potatoes at home, try to solve the problem by replacing the vegetables with a slice of bread that you have toasted beforehand.

Salted soup or broth can also be desalinated with rice. Wash a nice half cup of rice and add it to the dish. Rice can be replaced with a cup of fresh milk.

Sauce dishes are relatively easy to desalt, but what if you oversalted roast meat?

For this purpose you will need the following things - towel, 1 tsp. salt, water and a saucepan in which the piece of meat to collect.

First, wet the towel well and wrap the piece of meat in it. You should sprinkle a teaspoon of salt on the towel and put the already packaged meat in a closed container.

After about an hour, open the container and you will notice that crystals have formed on the surface of the towel - after this procedure the meat will be completely edible.
