Most of the so-called refreshed teas in bottles contain a minimum percentage of the useful substances indicated on the label. And too much sugar.

The international non-governmental organization for consumer protection Foodwatch has studied the products of several manufacturers.

Experts have concluded that in fact, cold drinks have almost no trace of tea in them, and usually their taste is made by the usual flavors.

And we all know that real tea is known for its antioxidant properties. Among other things, manufacturers generously add sugar to iced teas.

The study examined the drinks of well-known manufacturers such as Nestle, Lipton, Volvic, Gerolsteiner.

For example, in drinks allegedly produced as green tea with lemon and gooseberries, no traces of grapes were found at all. Only the flavors gave it flavor.

In addition, consumer advocates found that the 2-liter bottle contained as many as 47 cubes of sugar.

Foodwatch advises consumers not to be misled by misleading advertisements that promise the healing power of nature, a refreshing effect and good self-esteem.

Experts recommend: The best way to enjoy real tea is to make it at home and add natural dried fruits or herbs to taste.
