That's why the scientists on the island began to study sweetening tea, which involved men who drank sweetened tea daily.

The participants were divided into groups, and in one of the groups they continued to drink tea, as they always did. In another group they gradually began to reduce the sugar in the tea and in the third, they immediately turned off the sweetening of their traditional daily ration of tea.

The experiment proved that the restriction or complete cessation of sweetening tea did not change the pleasure of your favorite drink. This finding shows that people can very easily do something good for their health by giving up sweetening the constant cup of tea every day.

Why should the practice of sweetening tea be stopped?

The recommendations of the health authorities are to limit the consumption of sugar to 7 teaspoons of added sweetener per day. In fact, this limit is exceeded at least twice by all people. And drinks that contain added sugar to sweeten increase the risk of premature death. They cause heart disease as well as cancer.
