370 kilograms of cocaine were found in the Coca-Cola plant near the French city of Marseille. The drug is hidden in a container for orange juice, and its value is about 50 million dollars.

The substance is believed to have arrived in France from Costa Rica, but so far this cannot be confirmed as the investigation is still ongoing, AFP reports.

It was only established that the container arrived on August 26.

No arrests have been made yet, and investigators in Marseilles are trying to trace the origin of the opiates.

The Coca-Cola plant, which is produced in France near the town of Sin on the Mediterranean coast, produces concentrates for various beverages.

Coca-Cola did not comment on the discovery of cocaine in one of its largest factories, but speculation linked it to data released in 1886, which claimed that the company added cocaine to its original soft drink recipe.

The leader in the production of soft drinks then denied the allegation and said that narcotics had never been added to their products.

The prosecutor's office in Marseille has launched an investigation on Wednesday to investigate the illegal drug trafficking in the country.

The large French port is one of the major centers of organized crime in France, which also deals with the supply of drugs to the continent.

Opiates come here mainly by sea from the major drug cartels in South America - Colombia, Mexico and other Latin American countries.
