One of the increasingly popular diets, that of Rosemary Conley, requires you to count calories. However, this turns out to be quite beneficial and leads to rapid weight loss in just 7 weeks.

Rosemary Conley's diet includes eating low-fat, low-glycemic-index foods. The basis of the regime is calorie counting. The first rule is not to eat anything with more than 5% fat. The only exceptions are oatmeal and oily fish. They can be eaten 2-3 times a week and are good for both health and figure.

Rosemary Conley's diet is followed for a total of 7 weeks. The only substances that can be taken in unlimited quantities are water, tea, coffee, even diet drinks.

Diet is a huge challenge. It excludes some of the foods we are used to in our daily lives. In addition, it consumes quite a few calories. This is the reason why you lose more weight in the first 2 weeks of the diet.

Rosemary Conley limits her calorie intake to 1,200 a day. They are divided into as follows:

Breakfast: 200 calories

10h: 50 calories

Lunch: 300 calories

4pm: 50 calories

Dinner: 400 calories

When you get hungry between meals, you are allowed to drink half a glass of fresh milk, which has the lowest fat content. The specified regime is for the first two weeks. Over the next five weeks, the calories increase to 1,400 per day, distributed in a similar way. One dessert per day is allowed here, but only if you find it difficult to follow the regimen.

When preparing your daily menu, it is good to remember that not all low-fat foods are useful. Be careful with added sugars, because in most cases they are hidden. Always check how many calories are in each product you choose to consume.
