The product has already become a real sensation in the gourmet cuisine of Western Europe, and experts recommend seasoning it with chicken liver mousse, roasted beets or roasted lamb with basil. Its creators believe that their product is suitable for meat dishes, as well as for vegetarian specialties and various types of salads.
Wine salt contains virtually no alcohol and dishes seasoned with it are suitable for serving people of all ages. The creators of the product are from the salt company Jacobsen Salt Co in collaboration with Grochau Cellars in the Willamette Valley.
Pinot Noir salt is not the only non-standard product of the organization. The company also offers a special kind of black salt, salted black garlic, white truffles and vanilla salts. However, the company believes that wine salt is their most successful product so far and anticipates its mass distribution by the end of this year.
