That is why this type of salt is purer and is extracted from the earth today.

Himalayan salt is quite different from table salt, which consists mainly of sodium chloride. Himalayan salt is pure, very old, free of toxins that can contaminate the types of salt coming from the seas and oceans.

Rose salt from the Himalayas is also known as white gold. It is really a very valuable resource and rich in mineral salts, which, however, are completely absent in cooking salt, among which is iron.

The characteristic pink color is due to the high presence of minerals. The fact is that this special kind of salt is not subjected to any bleaching. For this reason, there are different shades - pink or reddish color, and can be in the form of inhomogeneous grains.

The pink salt is refined and no chemical processes are required. When extracted, it is just as clean when it has been deposited in the soil for thousands of years. After extraction, it is washed in a saturated solution to remove dust and any residues from the ground and packaged.
