The market price index has risen by 0.32% in just one week, according to data from the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets.
In mid-August there was a decrease in prices, but this fall we will see a jump.
Tomatoes grown in open areas rose by 4.9% per kilogram wholesale. In the case of garden cucumbers, the increase is 20% per kilogram. Green peppers have increased their prices by 10.9% and are now sold for BGN 1.12 per kilogram wholesale.
Potatoes have fallen in price by 14.9% and are now trading at BGN 0.53 per kilogram wholesale. Red peppers also fell in price by 8.6%, and their wholesale values are now BGN 1.27. Zucchini have fallen in price by 5% and their price per kilogram is BGN 0.95.
In the case of fruits, grapes are the cheapest. Its wholesale weight has fallen by 7.2% and is now selling for BGN 1.42. Apples are also cheaper, whose kilogram is sold in bulk for BGN 1.20.
The most serious increase in the price of fruit is with watermelons, whose wholesale kilogram is already BGN 0.50. Melons are also more expensive, which are sold on the wholesale markets for BGN 1.18 per kilogram wholesale.
In the last week, butter has also been sold at a higher price. Its price has jumped to BGN 2.26 for a package of 125 grams. The cow's cheese is also more expensive, whose wholesale kilogram has reached the values of BGN 6.05.
