Licorice is a root of Glycyrrhiza glabra, originating from China and Japan. It is a plant consisting of 20 species of families and subfamilies of the species Amaryllidaceae. In Bulgaria it is also known as Licorice, Licorice, Licorice, Licorice. The stems of licorice are up to 1 meter long.
The leaf mass of the plant is pinnate, and each petiole consists of 9 to 17 small petals. Its length is 7-15 cm.
