The meat roll is a tasty and relatively easy way to impress your guests with a good-looking dish that combines the best flavors of meat, vegetables and spices. Stephanie roll is often prepared in Bulgaria, but it is good to break the routine. There are literally thousands of recipes completely different from the familiar dish. Here are two irresistible ones:

Italian turkey roll

Necessary products: 0.5 kg of chopped mushrooms, 2 tsp. finely chopped onion, 1 tsp. grated parmesan, ¾ tsp. breadcrumbs, 1 tbsp. ground fresh garlic, 2 eggs, 3 tbsp. basil pesto, 2 tbsp. tomato puree, 2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. black pepper, 100 grams of tomato sauce, 800 g of minced turkey.

Method of preparation: Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Cut the mushrooms as finely as possible. If you have a food processor at home, grind them finely. In a large bowl, mix them with onion, parmesan, breadcrumbs, eggs and pesto. Then add the tomato puree, salt, pepper and 50 grams of tomato sauce. Add the turkey meat. Knead the whole mixture and spread it on cling film.

Leave to rest for 20 minutes, then wrap together with foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove, sprinkle with remaining tomato sauce and return to the oven for another 30 minutes. Once done, the roll is left for 10 minutes and ready to serve. The good thing about this recipe is that the taste of the dish does not change after it cools down, but acquires new flavors.

Necessary products: ½ cup breadcrumbs, ¼ cup chili, ¼ cup buttermilk, 1 cup onions, 1 tbsp. olive oil, 1 kg of minced meat, ¼ h. finely chopped basil, 1 egg, 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard, 1 tsp. salt, ½ tsp pepper, 1 cup lyutenitsa.

Method of preparation: Preheat the oven. Mix the breadcrumbs, chili and buttermilk and let them stand for five minutes. In a large skillet over medium heat, fry the onions in the oil for five minutes until soft.

Mix in a large bowl all the products together with the buttermilk and fried onions until well mixed. Divide the mixture into eight small pieces. Shape them of your choice - into rolls or balls. Place them on baking paper and place them in an oven preheated to 220 degrees. Cover them with foil. Bake for 30 minutes, removing the foil from the last 10.
