On Saturday, August 22, a summer ice cream festival will be organized in Sofia, where fans of the delicacy will be able to try some of the best brands produced in Bulgaria.
The festival will be held outdoors in the courtyard of betahaus Sofia. In addition to delicious ice cream, the guests of the event will be able to try the typical summer cocktails and lemonades.
The organizers of the event have also planned a competition for people who can make the most delicious homemade ice cream.
According to the rules, ice cream must be made entirely from natural products. Pre-registration is required to participate, and there will be prizes for the first three.
Competitors will be judged by a jury, and the competition will start at 18:00. The winner will receive a voucher for BGN 100, the second place - for BGN 50, and the third place participant will have a voucher for BGN 25.
The festival will be officially opened from 4 pm and will last until 9 pm. Visitors will be able to try the best Bulgarian ice creams, enjoying a wide variety - ice creams similar to cream, vegan sorbets, ice creams without lactose, ice cream with stevia and natural fructose.
