The first of its kind Sprat Festival will gather seafood lovers this summer in the resort village of Kranevo. From the 11th to the 12th of June, the residents and guests of the village will be able to enjoy the delicious event, offering a variety of crazy activities, including eating sprats and drinking beer.
The organizers of the event explain that they have decided to dedicate an entire festival to the sprat, as it is one of the most beloved fish on the native Black Sea coast, but still does not seem to receive the attention it deserves.
In addition to a culinary show, the program of the event includes various workshops, games, sports, dancing and beach fun. The guests of the festival will also be able to enjoy a summer cinema and impressive acrobatic demonstrations.
For this purpose, part of the resort will be designated as a festival area, where the scenes of the events will be located. As the Feast of Sprat will coincide with the traditional fair in Kranevo, the mayor of the village Rumen Nikolov has decided to surprise all guests with his incredible culinary skills.
As a true culinary virtuoso, he will wave his ladle and prepare his special fish soup, which will make the holidaymakers remember for many years the holiday in Kranevo.
In addition to a lot of fun and tasty surprises, the Sprat Festival will attract tourists with tempting offers during the festival days.
Thanks to the joint efforts of the Kranevo mayor's office, Balchik municipality and business, the prices in the hotels, restaurants and complexes in the region will be preferential.
