A unique culinary show surprised and impressed fans of quality cuisine in Ruse. Exotic recipes were presented to the guests of the event, as well as traditional native dishes, served in a new way.

The organizers of the unique show in the Danube city were the members of the Club of Professional Chefs, who presented the latest trends in their art. Their goal was to establish Ruse as the culinary capital of the Danube countries.

There is a new trend that is set is regional cuisine. Gourmet time is over. The forgotten grandmother's recipes are revived for a new life, but with a different look. They are, among other things, at a very good world level as a characteristic and balancing of tastes and qualities. We just need to work on the way we present them and update it, said the club president Chief Ivaylo Dimitrov.

During the culinary show, rustic liver, kavrma, Snezhanka salad were shown, which were a great sample of traditional Bulgarian cuisine. However, they were presented in a completely new way.

In the dishes of Bulgarian cuisine, which we are transforming, we have invested the most work and ideas. We offered in an interesting way chicken livers in a rustic way, a rural salad with an interesting presentation, fish plate, pork kavrma, Zhivko Dimitrov, a member of the national culinary team, told TV Europe.

Along with the forgotten native dishes, exotic specialties were shown, among which were kart tartar tartar, Nile crocodile terrine, Moroccan octopus tartar. The guests in the culinary show saw another sushi mosaic with the image of the Godfather against the background of the Italian flag.

The breads were no less impressive. The first was made with chocolate and the second with blue cheese, cuttlefish ink, yellowfin tuna, oregano and sun-dried tomatoes.

Chocolate desserts also did not go unnoticed by Ruse residents and guests of the Danube city. They were introduced to a unique chocolate tower, a dessert with white chocolate and boza Ruse, as well as candies filled with bacon.

The next presentation of interesting specialties in Ruse will take place in November during the national competition Chef of the Year. In addition, chefs from other Danube countries are scheduled to visit.
