The cough is one of the most unpleasant symptoms accompanying colds during the cold months of the year. It can last for months - even when we are already healthy. Almost nothing helps against it - it is not desirable to take drugs for months, and herbal syrups are not effective enough.
Fortunately, folk medicine has invented a cure for almost everything. And in such conditions, such as residual cough, it is good to turn to it. Because the methods are harmless and effective.
A magic decoction for coughing
Traditional recipe for cough secretions are herbal decoctions. Although unpleasant in taste, they work. One of the best recipes - a decoction of indrishe, onion with the shell, nebetsheker. In case you can't find a nebetsheker, you can also use onions. All this is boiled until the nebetsheker or onions melt, add some quince around the seeds and crushed walnuts along with the shells. Strain the mixture and take one spoonful of it three times a day - morning, noon and evening. In case of a severe cough, you can dissolve a spoonful of the mixture in water and drink it throughout the day.

Another tried and tested method is to carve black radish so that the vegetables take on the shape of a well. Fill the formed space with honey and let it stand. In a few hours the well will be full of radish juice. Take a tablespoon three times a day, for children - a teaspoon 5-6 times a day.
Raisins too help with coughing. Boil 100-200 grams of them together with a glass of milk. Leave them to soak for 1-2 hours. Separate the raisins from the milk and divide them into several portions by drinking the liquid and eating the dried fruits.
Another decoction - in about a liter of water boil an apple, onion and potato. You need to boil until the water is reduced by half. Give children a tablespoon several times a day.
If you take these decoctions longer, it is advisable to keep the remaining amount in the refrigerator. Or divide the ingredients in half and make a new portion every day if you have the time.
