When Radka Stefanova's son Mincho put the huge vegetable on the scales, he showed exactly one kilogram. Despite the unusual size of the tomato, the young man was not at all surprised, as tomatoes of impressive weight had been plucked from the family garden before.
The family from the village of Golyamo Dryanovo is very proud of their harvest. The Stefanovs say that tomatoes, like their other crops, are organic. It has grown in environmentally friendly conditions and has not been fertilized with harmful fertilizers.
This is not the first year that the Stefanovs have tomatoes in their yard. Other times they have enjoyed satisfactory production, but definitely the vegetables harvested now are breaking their previous personal records.

The impressive vegetable was grown by Veska and Ivan Yordanovi. When the family discovered it, they could not believe their creation. The scales showed that the pink tomato weighed exactly 2350 grams. With this weight, the vegetable is only about 1.5 kilograms lighter than the largest tomato known so far.
Veska Yordanova, who is a nurse, said that she and her husband have grown tomatoes before, but this year they are definitely happier than ever.
This year all our tomatoes are big. They are usually about 1,300 kilograms. However, there are larger ones, said Ms. Yordanova and, like other producers, stressed that her tomatoes are environmentally friendly.
