Green tea used for thousands of years. It is delicious and has been proven to have a number of health benefits from its use. But green tea has other uses - from cleaning carpets to reducing swelling in the feet - more in the following lines:

1. Reduces puffy eyes. The tannins and caffeine in green tea help reduce puffiness and also remove dark circles under the eyes. Make two bags of green tea. Drain as much water as you can and cool to room temperature. Put a bag of tea over each eye and leave for 10-15 minutes. Do this procedure at least twice a week and you will notice the results!

2. Soothes sunburn. Green tea contains properties that help with any skin inflammation. Dip a clean piece of cloth in chilled green tea and apply it on the affected area.

3. Pamper your feet. Green tea reduces puffiness of the eyes, but the same goes for the legs. After a long day, there is nothing better than a refreshing scented bath for swollen feet from walking.

4. Reduce odors in the refrigerator. Nobody wants a smelly refrigerator. Fight them by placing a dry, unused bag of green tea. This way the moisture will be absorbed and your refrigerator will smell nice.

5. Cleans dried fat. Put a packet of green tea on a fungus and your kitchen will shine without the need to use harmful detergents!

6. Freshness in the wardrobe. A few bags of green tea in the closet / wardrobe will fill it with a nice delicate aroma.

7. Clean carpets. No kidding! Sprinkle a few used but dry green tea leaves 10 minutes before vacuuming. This will help pick up more dirt and dust, and will also scent both your carpet and your vacuum cleaner!

8. Clean glass and mirrors. Decoction of green tea is a great helper in the fight against contaminated glass. Boil a few bags of tea, dilute slightly with water and apply.
