At the same time, however, more and more experts point out that coffee is not so harmless and advise us to focus on other invigorating drinks that have a similar effect as coffee.

In this case, it is not about energy carbonated drinks, which are sold in every major store, because their caffeine content is much higher than that of coffee, and if you read what else they contain, you will encounter problems because the ingredients are almost entirely chemicals that are utterly unknown to the average consumer.

That's why it's good to focus on those refreshing drinks, which Mother Nature offers us and to which more and more of the coffee lovers are oriented:

1. Black tea - It does not act as fast as coffee, but is considered to have a longer-lasting invigorating effect. Although black tea has a slightly bitter taste, quality tea is probably the best substitute for coffee. It is believed that 2 cups of black tea is equivalent to 1 cup of coffee and certainly works better on the human body. If you want to drink it sweeter, nothing prevents you from adding to it a teaspoon of honey, which will not harm its properties;

2. Cocoa - Here we are talking about real cocoa, which is not mixed with sweeteners. Cocoa, like natural dark chocolate, works flawlessly when looking for a quick sleep aid;

3. Shake made from green vegetables and fruits - This includes all green leafy vegetables such as dock, spinach, parsley, etc., as well as green fruits such as kiwi, melon, green grapes, etc. They contain so many vitamins that will charge you with energy for the whole day;

4. Chicory - little found in Bulgaria in its natural form, chicory root has definitely invigorating properties. It is no coincidence that the famous Inca coffee was produced from it in the past;

5. Spelt- Einkorn is a type of wheat that is used by many peoples instead of coffee and has a proven healthier effect.
