Everyone loves pearls. They are easy to prepare. There are literally hundreds of different recipes that never get bored and most of all this pasta is extremely tasty. This is because bread is revered in the Balkans. While other nations around the world consume, sitting at the table, contemptuous likenesses of bread, in our latitudes there are dozens of delicious recipes that tempt foreigners. The Greeks do not lag behind. Here are 2 recipes for delicious Greek pearls:

Ordinary Greek pearls

Necessary products: 225 grams of flour, 1 tsp. salt, ½ packet of fresh yeast, 140 ml of lukewarm water, 2 tbsp. olive oil

Method of preparation: In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast with lukewarm water and a spoonful of flour. Allow to bubble. The remaining flour is sifted, mixed with salt and placed in a pile. A well is made in it, where the olive oil and the yeast are placed. Knead a soft dough. Leave to rise for an hour in a large bowl covered with greased foil.

Divide the risen dough into six loaves, mixing each of them. Leave them to rise again for ten minutes. Then roll them into round loaves 5 mm thick and about fifteen centimeters in diameter. Let them rest again, this time on greased foil, for about fifteen minutes.

Bake them in a preheated 230 degree oven for about 15 minutes. After removing them, smear them with olive oil and sprinkle with crushed garlic if desired.

Necessary products: 1 packet of dry yeast, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 cup warm water, 4 cups flour, 2 tablespoons salt, 1 cup warm water, 1 tablespoon olive oil, fresh rosemary

Method of preparation: Dissolve the yeast and sugar in 1/2 cup of warm water. Let them stand for 15 minutes. Dissolve the salt in the remaining glass of warm water.

In a large mixing bowl, add the flour and make a well in the middle. Add the yeast and olive oil. Knead a soft dough. Form the dough into a ball and leave it to rise in the heat for an hour and a half.

Beat the risen dough in the table for about five minutes. Make small balls the size of an egg. Let them rest for 10 minutes. Roll them to a thickness of 5 millimeters. Bake in a greased pan in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 4 minutes on each side.

Coat them with olive oil and sprinkle with rosemary. These cakes are very durable and you can store them in paper bags in the refrigerator. If you decide to do this, do not grease them with olive oil after baking, but wait for them to cool. Before consumption, bake them for two minutes on both sides and they will become freshly baked.
