On the threshold of one of the brightest holidays - Easter, we have an important task ahead of us. Painting eggs in the most beautiful colors is especially important to achieve a perfect holiday table. One of the most important moments is undoubtedly cooking eggs.
One of the most common problems with Easter eggs is that they do not break during cooking. Everyone has their own trick to avoid such an unpleasant development. Here we have collected the 7 most popular methods not to break the eggs for Easter. Here they are:
- Before you put them to boil, the eggs must be removed from the refrigerator and have reached room temperature. If not from the night before, remove them at least a few minutes before immersing them in warm water;
- It must be placed on the bottom of the pot towel. Make folds so that they separate the eggs from each other. This will prevent them from hitting and breaking during cooking;
- Use older eggs. They break much harder than fresh ones. The older the eggs, the calmer you can be about their fate during cooking;
- To the water in which you boil the eggs, it is good to add at least 1 tbsp. sol. Although many housewives add vinegar, this is extremely wrong. Vinegar may speed up the cooking process, but makes the shells more brittle and prone to breakage;
- Eggs in tights - It may sound strange, but eggs cooked this way do not break. To do this, put each in a sock or tights, twist the end and tie with thread. There is also a bonus here - if you want to decorate them at the same time, put a stalk of geranium or another flower petal between the egg and the sock;
