The prices of eggs will remain the same around the Easter holidays, announced Ivaylo Galabov, a member of the board of the Union of Poultry Breeders in Bulgaria.
The industry refuted the information that Polish eggs will be cheaper on the market and claimed that according to the latest calculations, Bulgarian production will be at more attractive values.
The egg market around Easter has always been dynamic in our country, but Bulgarian production is ready to meet the needs of the population in the days around the holiday.
As every year, this one will have a strong import, but the Bulgarian eggs will be at more attractive prices, Galabov commented to Darik.
He believes that the affordable values will stimulate more and more Bulgarians to choose the Bulgarian one, and this will help the domestic production and the Bulgarian economy as a whole.
The native eggs will be of sufficient quality so that they will not be disappointed after shopping. Galabov also claims that at the moment Bulgarian eggs have the lowest values in the European Union.
However, in order to maintain this trend, domestic production is demanding that the new government introduce a differentiated value added tax, as is the case in most European countries.
Experts advise you to carefully monitor the quality of the goods you buy, as this year will be full of unscrupulous traders.
Do not buy eggs from unregulated commercial sites, but notice such a trader, report to the BFSA on 0700 122 99.
