Colors, additives and preservatives - all these E's are used in many of our foods. In recent years, many countries have begun to impose bans on some of them, as they actually endanger the lives of consumers.
In our country, however, there are still no such bans, and even the most dangerous and deadly E's are being added undisturbed to our food.
Interestingly, for almost every E, adverse reactions such as asthma attacks, allergic reactions, and hyperactivity in children have been reported.
Some of them have an accelerated development of cancer and other serious diseases. In reality, there is no direct evidence of safety for some dyes, additives and preservatives.
Until 1963, their names were written in full, but it was decided to replace them with one letter and a numeric code. Often, however, when we read the content, the letters and numbers indicated do not tell us anything.
Dyes - They are all from E100 to E199. They are considered one of the most dangerous dietary supplements. This is because over the years most natural dyes have been replaced by synthetic ones. Today, colorants are widely used in confectionery, the production of soft drinks and juices, ice cream, chips, snacks and canned foods.
Extremely harmful colorants are E102 - tartazine (yellow № 5), E110 - sunset yellow (yellow № 6), E123 - amaranth (red № 2), E122 and E124 ponso 4R (red № 4) and E127 - erythrosine (red № 3). They are all banned in countries such as Russia, the United States, Norway and others.
There is a mass ban for the dyes E102, E104, E107, E110, E120, E122 - E133, E142, E151, E153 - E155, E173 - E175 and E180. They are allowed only in a few countries, including Bulgaria. Absolutely forbidden for production are E 103, E 121, or at least it should be.
Preservatives - They are from E200 to E299. They are mainly used in beer, wine, soft drinks, dried fruits, juices, vinegar, tomato and potato products.
Preservatives E210 to E217 are considered to be extremely carcinogenic. Preservatives E240 and E 249, E330, E131, E240 and E142 are also dangerous.
In our country are allowed some of the most poisonous - preservatives E250, E252 and E254, which are usually added to sausages and sausages. In some countries their use is not allowed.
Additives - From E300 to E399. These are all antioxidants and acid regulators that are used in margarine, fats, liquid chocolates, blanched potatoes.
The sweetener E952 is banned in the USA and Great Britain, but it is widely popular in Bulgaria. Leads to migraines and cancer.
