A bottle of luxury champagne by designer Alexander Amosu, encrusted with a 19-carat diamond, sold for a record $ 1.2 million.

Amosu says he was inspired by the design of the Superman bottle and that he created it for his client, whose name he wished to disclose.

The champagne label is made of 18-carat solid white gold and, according to the designer, his unusual creation is "the last, latest stage of ultimate luxury".

The bottle is full of "Goût de Diamants Champagne" champagne - winner of the award for best champagne last year.

The manufacturer of the drink announces that it contains a mixture of vintage Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Munier, which offers a floral, refreshing and foamy texture with a light and elegant finish.

Alexander Amosu is a jewelry designer and often makes exquisite goods even more luxurious. His company, Amosu Couture Phones, specializes in gilding mobile devices.

In 2009, the British designer set a Guinness World Record, creating the most expensive suit in the world.

But the price of Amosu's latest creation has undoubtedly reached that limit because of the precious metals that adorn the bottle.

Other brands are known, from the mandatory drink for every New Year's Eve, which have reached stunning prices without being decorated with gold and diamonds.
