Once again it became clear that Bulgarians do not know exactly what we consume. A young man from Pernik entered a hospital after eating a croissant for breakfast.

The student ate a muffin with chocolate, after which he had an acute allergic reaction and had to enter the intensive care unit of the local health institution Rahila Angelova. Fortunately, the 23-year-old from Pernik is already stabilized, but he is still on systems.

According to initial information, shortly after consuming the croissant with chocolate, the student felt unwell. He felt faint and could not breathe.

Suddenly he felt a strong heartbeat. However, he managed to seek medical help in time and the medical specialists immediately placed him in the intensive care unit.

The doctors assure that he has been prescribed the necessary treatment. He was given antihistamines, urbazone and others. According to them, at the moment his condition is stabilized, but in any case the person has to remain under medical supervision.

It is not yet clear which ingredient in the pasta has caused an allergic reaction in the young man, and this issue is yet to be resolved.

Allergy tests are to be performed to see which component of the food the body is weak.
