For lean cake, the necessary products are minimized. All you need is:

400 g jam, 1/2 tsp. oil, 3 tsp. flour, 2 tsp. baking soda, raisins and walnuts (optional)

Preparation is also not difficult. Beat the jam with 1 tsp. lukewarm water. Oil and flour mixed with soda are added to it. The mixture is mixed well. Dried fruits and nuts are added to it, if desired. The cake is baked in a greased and floured pan in a preheated oven.

Another sweet idea for the fasting period is lean apple pie, able to tempt literally anyone. For it you need:

1 teaspoon flour, ¼ teaspoon cocoa, 1 tsp. baking soda, ¼ teaspoon oil, 1 tsp. lemon juice, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp apple juice, ¼ tsp apple puree, 1 vanilla / cinnamon, 1 tsp apples (peeled and diced), 1 tsp sugar

In a bowl, mix the flour with half the sugar, cocoa, salt and baking powder. In another bowl, mix the apple juice, oil, lemon juice and chilled apple puree. Mix the diced apple cubes with the other half of the sugar and cinnamon.

The other liquid ingredients are added to the flour mixture, as well as the apples. The result is stirred until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

Another lean and sweet delicacy is strudel with Turkish delight and nuts. It is something between a cake and a pastry. For it you need 500 g of peel, 150-200 g of Turkish delight, 1 kg. apples, 1 and 1/2 tsp. sugar, 1 tsp. walnuts, 200 ml. carbonated water, 5 tbsp. oil, cinnamon, raisins, powdered sugar.

Arrange three peels in a pan, on which are placed a little grated apples, raisins, Turkish delight, sugar, cinnamon, walnuts and oil. Top with three more crusts, on which the same filling is made, on them three more and so on until the crusts are finished.

While it is raw, the cake is cut like a cake, sprinkled with soda water and a little oil in the slots. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. When ready, while still hot, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
