The market is overflowing with imported products, famous as extremely useful foods. According to nutritionists, however, local fruits and vegetables have a much more beneficial effect on our body than foreign ones.
That is why many have found the equivalent of so-called superfoods and are happy to eat them. In this way, they not only support the home economy, but also manage to save money. Here are some of the Bulgarian products replacing the praised foreign goods:
Millet replaces quinoa
Almost the same amount of fiber and protein can be found in millet as in quinoa. At the same time, millet is significantly cheaper than this exotic crop, which grows mainly in the Andes. In addition, it is widespread in our country, while quinoa can be found most often in specialty stores.
