Chickpeas are very popular and used in Turkish, Pakistani and Indian cuisine. For many dishes, it must be cooked in advance. Before boiling, it is soaked for about 12 hours, from which it swells, and then boiled until soft.

Fried chickpeas are made from boiled and then fried chickpeas, which are seasoned with salt and red pepper. Curry and chickpea soup is very tasty and useful.

To prepare it you need 3 potatoes, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 300 grams of pre-cooked chickpeas, 2 cloves garlic, 1 tsp. lemon juice, 2 tbsp. tomato puree, 1 tsp. curry, half a teaspoon of turmeric, 2 liters of water, 3 green onions, salt, pepper, 1 tbsp. fat, finely chopped parsley for sprinkling.

Cut the potatoes into cubes and cook for 7 minutes. Onions, garlic and carrots are finely chopped and stewed in fat. Add the tomato puree and leave on the stove for another 5 minutes.

Chickpeas, vegetables, spices are added to the potatoes and everything boils for 5 minutes. The soup is then strained and seasoned with lemon juice. The soup is served sprinkled with parsley and green onions.

The spicy pork with chickpeas and tomatoes are sure to pleasantly surprise your loved ones.

Necessary products for 8 servings: half a cup of olive oil, 2 onions, 700 grams of minced pork, 6 cloves of garlic, juice of 2 lemons, 2 tsp hot red pepper, 800 grams of pre-cooked chickpeas, 6 tomatoes, parsley.

Method of preparation: Heat the fat in a thick-bottomed pan, pour in the chopped onion and fry for 5 minutes until soft. Add the minced pork and fry everything, stirring constantly.

When the meat changes color, add the chopped garlic, lemon juice and hot red pepper and simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add the drained chickpeas, chopped parsley, mix well and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Cut the tomatoes into cubes and add to the dish, mix everything well and leave on the stove for 15 minutes. Serve garnished with lettuce.
