For a woman, weight is extremely important - she wants to know if it is so to speak is the norm - whether the weight is normal for her height or she has gained more than necessary. Several different approaches are known to calculate - the Brock index, the body mass index, the Borngard index, the Breitman index.
To calculate your weight and find out if you have Overweight according to the Brock index, you need to know your height in centimeters. If you are between 155 and 165 cm tall, you need to subtract 100 from your height.
However, if your height is between 166 cm and 175 cm, subtract 105, and if your height is above 175 - subtract 110. Subtract from your height the number that applies to your height - for example 165 - 100 = 65 kg. So that you are not considered to be with Overweight, you should weigh no more than 65 pounds.
For the Borngard index, you need not only the height in centimeters but also your chest circumference. Multiply the height by the circumference, then divide the result by 240. Again, we use a lady with a height of 165 cm and a chest circumference of 85 cm.
Here is what is obtained 165x85 / 240 = 58.44. In that case, this should be your weight, and anything over those pounds speaks of being overweight.
For the Breitman index, we multiply a person's height in centimeters by 0.7. Then we subtract 50 from the resulting number and get the results. Again, the lady is 165 cm tall - 165x0, 7 = 115, 5 - 50 = 65, 5 kg. In other words, the weight below these is considered absolutely normal according to the Breitman index.
It remains to be seen how the body mass index (BMI) calculates whether we are normal or overweight. Here you need to know your weight, height. Divide the kilograms by the height of a square or 60 kg / (1.65x1.65) = 22.03.
This is your body mass index, and to see if you are normal you need to know that a normal weight is an index between 18.5 and 24.9. Overweight has an index between 25 and 29, 9, and then begin obesity I, II and III degree.
Respectively with values of I degree - between 30 and 34, 9, for II degree - 35 and 39, 9 and index over 40 is considered for obesity III degree.
