One of the most delicious recipes for chicken breasts, suitable for summer, is healthy and low in calories. It is also extremely easy to prepare and requires only three other products in addition to the meat. And the result is more than fantastic.

The necessary products for this summer temptation are, in addition to butterflies, chicken, tomatoes, pesto and yellow cheese.

Chicken breasts must be fresh and of good quality. The amount depends on how many people you will be cooking for. In this recipe, 1 and 1/2 butterflies are used.

The tomatoes in the recipe should be pink. They have more taste and juice than the others. Pesto can be prepared both at home and bought in a jar from the store.

Necessary products: 2 bunches of basil, 3 cloves garlic, 200 ml olive oil, 100 g pine nuts, 100 g grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper

Method of preparation: The basil and pine nuts are ground in a food processor. Add the garlic and beat again until smooth. Gradually add the olive oil and mix well. Last add the parmesan, salt and pepper to taste. Stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Cut the chicken breasts into two equal halves. The baking tray is pre-greased with a little oil. Olive oil is not a good idea here, as it gives a different taste to the dish. The breasts are arranged on top.

The meat is generously spread with pesto sauce. Cut the tomatoes into round slices and arrange on top.

The oven is preheated to maximum temperature. Bake the steak pan for about 20 minutes at 180-200 degrees. When the meat is almost roasted in appearance, it is taken out and yellow cheese is grated on top. Return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes.
