Did you know that the pumpkin belongs to the group of so-called fruit vegetables? It can be used both for desserts and as a component of main dishes or salads.

3. Stuffed pumpkin with pork
This recipe is for those who like to experiment in the kitchen.
Required products:
Pumpkin - about 1.5 kg (preferably round)
Pork - 1 kg (colorful)
Onions - 2 heads
Mushrooms - 6-7 pcs. (mushrooms)
Carrots - 1 pc.
Garlic - 2-3 cloves
White wine - 100 ml.
Bay leaf - 1 pc.
Black pepper - 4-5 grains

Fry the meat and add the vegetables (onions, carrots, mushrooms, garlic). Add the white wine and spices and wait for the liquid to evaporate. Then the stuffing is transferred to the pumpkin, which is covered with a lid and wrapped all over with aluminum foil. Put the stuffed pumpkin in a pan and bake for 2 hours at 180 degrees, then remove the foil and bake the stuffed pumpkin for another half an hour.
1. Stuffed pumpkin with fruits and nuts

Required products:
Pumpkin - 1/2 violin (only the lower part) or 1 round (about 1, 5 kg.)
Apple (excellent gold) - 1 pc.
Pear - 1 pc.
Quince - 1 pc.
Dried fruits - 1 tsp. (raisins, apricots, prunes, figs)
Nuts - 1 tsp. (walnuts and almonds)
Turkish delight - 1 package
Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
Honey - 6 tbsp. (10 tablespoons brown sugar)
Cut off the top and carve the pumpkin from the seeds. Scrape the inside well and spread with 3 tbsp. honey. Finely chop the apple, pear and quince. Put in a large bowl and mix with dried fruits, nuts, Turkish delight, cinnamon and 3 tbsp. honey (or brown sugar), after which this mixture is put in the carved pumpkin.
Cover the opening of the pumpkin with aluminum foil or, if you have filled a round pumpkin, close it with its lid. Put some water on the bottom of the pan and bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 2 hours. Then remove the foil and bake for another 30 minutes.
2. Cream caramel in pumpkin

If you forgot to prepare this one recipe for stuffed pumpkin, now is the time to do it and we promise that this will become your favorite winter dessert. The required products are:
Pumpkin - violin or round (about 1.5 kg)
Fresh milk - 500 ml
Eggs - 4 pcs.
Sugar - 1/2 cup + 3-4 tbsp. (for caramel)
Vanilla - 1 pc.
Flour - 1-2 tbsp. (for sprinkling pumpkin)
The pumpkin is hollowed out and sprinkled with flour inside. There should be flour on the bottom and on the walls. Beat the eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla. 3-4 tbsp. sugar and 1 tablespoon of water are caramelized on the stove and the caramel is poured on the bottom of the pumpkin, then the egg mixture is added and the pumpkin is placed in a deep vessel (pot) in which water is poured 2 fingers below its level.
Bake at 160 degrees for about 2 hours, making sure the water does not boil. Cream caramel in pumpkin is consumed cold, so you will have to endure until the next day and eat it after spending one night in the refrigerator.
