The second edition of Defile Designer cakes and Art Carving "Designer Cakes" will be held from 6 to 9 November 2013 as part of international exhibitions Meat mania, The world of milk, Bulpek, Wine salon, Interfood and Drink and the specialized exhibition for hotel and restaurant equipment Sihre.
Inter Expo Center - Sofia is the main partner of the event.
This year the organizers of the magazine "Coffee Break" and the Bulgarian Carving Association offer participants additional opportunities to express their creativity. The main exposition of models of cakes will be on the theme of "Autumn Prelude" and will be located on an area of 72 square meters.
For the first time, 10 teams in a specially equipped Demo Zone will compete on the spot and show their professionalism to an international jury and visitors to the exhibition.
On the first day of the exhibitions, the Demo Zone will offer Cake Decorating on the theme of "Autumn Prelude". On the second day of the Parade, students from vocational high schools will compete in decorating cakes, muffins, honey cakes and carving.
The third day is dedicated to carving, where the masters will face the challenge of creating a cake from fruits and vegetables. On the spot, they will demonstrate their skills by making a carving composition on a free theme.
Coffee Break Magazine and the Bulgarian Carving Association have invited Gary Philbey, a professor at Bournemouth & Poole College of F. E. as a Lecturer in London, as a member of the jury. With her extensive experience as a specialist in bakery and confectionery, with many international awards, organizer of culinary competitions and international judge of the highest class "A", the opinion of Gary Philbey will be another challenge for the participants in this delicious competition..
THE SPECIAL PRIZE of the winners in the Demo Zone of the Gorge is participation in the International Culinary Festival in Istanbul, Turkey, in February 2014.
