Mixers have long been a constant helper in the kitchen. They are actually small household machines with which we break eggs, drinks, mousses, mix dough. Mixers are usually manual and stationary. The main difference between them is in power.

Mixers with power up to 220 watts are manual. Stationary mixers have much more power (from 270 to 350 watts). These mixers have a bowl to which the beater is attached.

The advantage of stationary mixers is that in addition to being comfortable, they also have wider blade blades. In this way the mixture breaks down faster and homogenizes better. Both mixers have different attachments for work.

Modern mixers are much more functional. They can break and mix different products, mix dough, cut onions, carrots, nuts. However, these kitchen helpers are designed for small portions and therefore should not be overloaded.

Blenders are used for larger quantities. The electrical part of these devices is attached to a cup or jug, at the bottom of which are mounted metal spatulas with which the products are crushed.

The blender has even more power than the mixer. It can even be used to break up ice. Both mixers and blenders have different operating speeds. Usually the speeds are from 3 to 6.

For convenience, there are signs and drawings around the switch indicating the mode of operation of the various products. In the newer models, a pulse mode has been added, which divides the work in one mode into short series. The aim is for the ground particles to fall back onto the breaking blades and thus to obtain a more uniform homogenization.
