The 90th ceremony of awarding one of the most prestigious film awards in the world - the Oscars, will be held on March 4, 2018 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Once the eyes are saturated with celebrities walking in gorgeous clothes on the red carpet, it will be time for food.
The ceremony takes place in two stages each time. In the first, guests tremble in anticipation of the awards ceremony. Then they get a chance to satisfy their hunger with exquisite dishes. And this year they will be the work of first-class chef Wolfgang Pack, who always surprises with more and more unusual menus.
The star chef is really good. It can turn any food - from small dishes to desserts, into magic. When guests enter the Ray Dolby Ballroom, more than 6 imaginative dishes will be served in various locations around the room. The stars will start the evening with an ice bar. There will be a caviar parfait, as well as crab, lobster and mussels.
For meat lovers, there will be Miyazaki Wagyu beef tartare on a pad of airy black rice. Among the delicacies there are also small tacos with seasoned aubergines and cucumbers marinated in lime.
The chef has come up with something for everyone. If there are fans of pasta, they will be able to find kawatapi with cheese and winter truffles, as well as spinach bell peppers with green peas, onion chipolino and roasted tomatoes.
Desserts will also tempt the senses. Oscar guests will have plenty of chocolate chip cookies. The tables will be full of lychee, rose and raspberry tart, Mocha Beehive dessert, French pasta for every taste, etc. Especially for the 90th consecutive ceremony, 7,000 chocolate mini-Oscars will be made.
The Oscars will have a charity side this year as well. As always, food that is not eaten during the ceremony will be immediately sent to various centers serving kitchens for the needy.
