Tapas - delicious Spanish appetizers, are known around the world. In the Basque country, you can often find them under the name pinchos, because they were born stuck on a stick, that is - pincho. In other areas they are called banderias or alifaras.

Whatever they are called, however, this small, and in some cases not so small, amount of snack is served as an appetizer to wine or beer and is almost always eaten on foot.

There are many types of tapas. The three main ones are: Spanish shrimp, pickled olives and tortillas. They are easy to prepare and very tasty. Here's how to make them:

Tapas - Spanish shrimp

Necessary products: olive oil, 1 chili, garlic and shrimp

Method of preparation: Chop the chili and garlic, heat the olive oil and put all the products in it. Fry for no more than three minutes. The appetizer is consumed with crispy bread.

Tapas - pickled olives

Necessary products: olive oil, 1 chili, bay leaf, garlic, a few sprigs of thyme and olives

Method of preparation: All products except olives are heated. Allow to cool and place the olives in them. The result is left to stand for 4 days. Marinated olives can be filled with cheese, lemon and peppers. They are served as a beer appetizer.

Necessary products: 3 tbsp. olive oil, 1 head of old onion, 3 potatoes, 2 cloves of old garlic, 2 red peppers, 6 eggs, 1/2 tsp. hot red pepper, 1 bunch fresh parsley

Method of preparation: The oven with a fan is preheated to 200 degrees.

2 tbsp. olive oil is heated in a pan. Onions and potatoes are peeled, sliced and fried at a moderate temperature for about 20 minutes - until soft. Gradually add the garlic and peppers, pre-cleaned and chopped, and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Transfer the vegetables to a large bowl. The mixture is seasoned and allowed to cool. Add the eggs, hot red pepper and parsley and leave for another 5 minutes to mix the flavors.

A thin-walled pan is placed in the oven to heat slightly. Remove and grease. Pour the egg mixture into it and bake for 15-20 minutes until firm. The finished appetizer is removed, cooled and cut into squares. Served as a wine snack.
