According to others, the herb originates from Greece. According to legends in ancient Greece there was a town where the Greeks drank water from a spring, surrounded by meadows with this herb. Since the inhabitants of the village lived for over 100 years, everyone decided that this was due to the devil's mouth.
Composition of the devil's mouth
The main biologically active substances in the herb Devil mouth are saponins, flanol glycosides, traces of essential oil, bitter substances, resins, 3% tannins, etc. Stems contain stahydrin, the bitter substance leunorin, resin, vitamin C, organic acids, tannins.
