Although there are still people who do not know what paella is, there are few who have already tried it and were not fascinated. Unfortunately, in very few places in Bulgaria you will be able to enjoy an authentic paella, which is why it is good to learn how to make it yourself.

Paella with chicken and seafood

Necessary products: 2 chicken drumsticks, 1 onion, 3 cloves garlic, 6 tablespoons olive oil, 250 g chopped squid, 250 g peeled mussels, 250 g peeled shrimp, 200 g rice, 1/2 tsp. turmeric, 1 tsp. red pepper, 800 ml chicken broth, 4 tbsp tomato paste, 1 tsp. canned peas, salt to taste

Method of preparation: In a special dish known as paella, pour the olive oil and fry the finely chopped onions, garlic and diced steaks. After about 5 minutes, add the squid, mussels and shrimp. Add the rice, season with turmeric, red pepper and salt to taste and pour the broth and tomato paste. Let the paella simmer for about 15 minutes and when the water boils, add the peas. Stir gently and serve while warm.

Necessary products: 1 onion, 2 cloves garlic, 1 red and 1 green pepper, 7 tbsp. olive oil, 250 g rice, 1 tsp. saffron, 850 ml vegetable broth, 4 tbsp. tomato puree, 1 tsp. canned peas, 1/2 tsp. canned corn, salt to taste

Method of preparation: This recipe is prepared as the previous one, with the chopped peppers put together with the onion and garlic, and the corn together with the peas.

Chicken paella with peas and beans

Necessary products: 4 chicken steaks, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 finely chopped onion, 4 cloves garlic, 400 g rice, 4 tbsp. olive oil, 2 pinches of saffron, 1 pinch of paprika, 200 g of beans and 200 g of canned peas, 1.5 liters of chicken broth, a few sprigs of fresh parsley

Method of preparation: Cut the steaks, sprinkle with flour and fry in some olive oil. Put in a pan and bake for about 30 minutes. Fry all other products in the remaining olive oil and add the broth. Add the legs and when everything is ready, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
