Carrots are a real treasure trove of nutrients. They contain many minerals, vitamins and essential oils. Carrots are rich in carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in the human body.

Vitamin A is fat-soluble, so it must be consumed with fat to be fully absorbed by the body. Carrots promote growth in children.

Raw carrots are delicious, grated on a salad, but if you prepare meatballs from these useful vegetables, everyone will recognize you as an unsurpassed culinary talent.

You need four large carrots, three eggs, 125 g of semolina, 250 ml of milk, 100 g of breadcrumbs, 25 g of butter, a pinch of salt and oil to fry the meatballs.

Wash the carrots, peel them and grate them on a large grater. Pour them into a saucepan, add the milk, butter and salt. Stew the mixture over low heat until soft.

Add semolina. Stir until smooth and cook on low heat for five minutes. Cool the mixture. Separate the egg whites. Add the yolks to the cooled mixture and stir.

Beat the egg whites. Heat the pan over medium heat and grease with oil. Form meatballs from the carrot mixture, dip them for a second in the beaten egg whites, roll in breadcrumbs and fry.

Fry on both sides until golden. You can bake the meatballs in the oven - they are ready in fifteen minutes. Serve the finished meatballs with cream, cheese or even jam.

You can make sweet carrot meatballs - you need two apples and a handful of raisins. Peeled apples are grated on a coarse grater and added to carrots and milk.

Stew, add the raisins pre-soaked for ten minutes in hot water and simmer for another two minutes. Add to the mixture three teaspoons of sugar and one vanilla.
