Elderberry wine

Necessary products: 7 bunches of elder flowers, 1 kg of sugar, 3 lemons, 6 liters of water

Method of preparation: In a damajana or similar container that can be sealed, put the finely chopped lemons, sugar, water and elderflower. Mix everything well, close the pan and leave to cool for 50 days.

When the allotted time has elapsed, the liquid is filtered and the finished wine is poured into dry bottles, which are closed with a stopper and are ready for consumption.

Elderberry juice

Necessary products: 2 kg of elderberry, 2 kg of sugar

Method of preparation: Elderberries are washed very well and only well-ripened ones are selected. Carefully chop the elderberries with a fork, pour into pre-washed jars and pour the sugar, trying to get the same amount of sugar in each jar. Leave in a cool place until enough juice is released, then it is filtered and the liquid is poured into bottles. They are sealed with caps and stored in the refrigerator.

Necessary products: 30 bunches of elderberry, 1 lemon, 1 tsp gelatin, 250 g sugar, 1 sprig of mint

Method of preparation: Elder flowers are washed well and boiled together with the washed and sliced lemon (along with the peel) in 450 g of water. Mint is also added. After about 10 minutes strain the fruit syrup, add the sugar and pre-dissolved in a little water gelatin. Boil for no more than 5-7 minutes and pour everything into the provided gelling vessel. Wait for it to cool and put the elderberry dessert jelly in the fridge. Before serving, you can decorate it with fruit, ice cream or cream.
