Different varieties of fish also give different names to sushi rolls. However, with learning them, you are still at the beginning of a long journey in learning sushi concepts. In the composition of this exotic food there are many other ingredients with different and strange names. Some are well known, while others can be heard relatively rarely even in the kitchens of the best sushi masters.

Sushi concepts are a constant that varies slightly from the types of sushi rolls offered in the country, as well as the taste preferences of most customers. Here are some of the most popular sushi concepts you need to learn to feel like a real Japanese at least for a moment:

Poppies. One of the many types of sushi. Represents rolls of rice with stuffing, whether it is fish or just vegetables. They must be wrapped in nori crust before being rolled into a roll of rice.

Wasabi. A must-have item that is placed on a plate next to your favorite sushi. It is a Japanese horseradish, which when consumed in sashimi is traditionally mixed with soy sauce and the mixture is used to flavor pieces of sushi sashimi.
